%X The pre-production stage of the film is important to establish communication between directors and artists. One of the main documents generated in this step is the storyboard. This paper presents the proposal of a pattern language for storyboards, which aims to represent characters movements, cameras and elements of scene, enabling the generation of a semiautomated digital animation.
